I made delicious Kale Chips last night. Today, with the humidity, well, I made eating delicious yet soggy Kale Chips.
How did I make said Chips you ask? (Thanks for asking)
You need a baking sheet, salad spinner if you have one, otherwise a tea towel and a big bowl.
Buch of Kale, stems removed and torn into chip sized pieces
Oil of your choice, I used peanut
Seasoning of your choice, I used garlic powder and
Seasoning
Wash and dry Kale.
Put in bowl
Drizzle a little oil over leaves,
Massage oil into each leaf until it glistened, I used clean hands to do this but can wear gloves, use a pastry brush.
Sprinkle with seasonings of your choice, toss, toss sprinkle again toss, toss
Throw onto a baking sheet, Oven 300 degrees 20 to 30 minutes until edges are golden brown and leaves are crispy. Every 10 minutes give it a stir.
TIP: Taste after the first 10min to see if your seasoning makes you smile if not, adjust. If yes, you can happy dance. Enjoy
