Float the Boat
Roughly 300 refugees have drowned in attempt to cross the Aegean Sea from Turkey to Greece and another 2,500 in the Mediterranean in 2015 alone. As such, a group of volunteers have started a fundraising campaign to sponsor at least one Syrian family in hopes of their safe arrival to Canada by much less dangerous means.
