Rachel Gray is an interdisciplinary artist, creative leader, and communications strategist in Algonquin Territory/ Ottawa. Rachelâs artistic processes and methodologies are informed by her interests in ecology and disability arts.
Stephanie Nadeau is the director and founder of Third Angle Projects, an open research initiative mobilizing professionals, artists, and researchers to collaborate on social and environmental innovation projects that benefit the Canadian arts and culture sector.

Fashion as a creative practice is a driving force behind identity, cultural and self-expression. Diversity in fashion can be a cultural driver that increases focus on ethical, sustainable, and accessible fashion while embracing its originality. Ottawa also happens to be a hot bed for up-and-coming designers and fashion entrepreneurs.
This panel discussion an opportunity to learn from Indigenous creators about their approach to sustainable slow-fashion; âhaute-coutureâ vs mass production; ecological implications around resource-extraction - and the exciting new wave of young Indigenous leadership in this sector.
