We’re proud to see our project Hälsa at 230 Royal York, developed in partnership with Leader Lane Developments featured in Novae Res Urbis Toronto, highlighting how innovation in design can unlock smarter, more sustainable housing delivery.

At 230 Royal York Road, we're advancing a nine-storey mass timber residential building that demonstrates how modern methods of construction—like prefabrication and efficient core design—can help address housing supply challenges. By rethinking traditional approaches, this project maximizes usable space while maintaining safety and performance, offering a scalable model for mid-rise development.

As Canada continues to prioritize housing delivery, we're seeing more and more how Windmill’s approach to development closely aligns with the objectives of Build Canada Homes and public sector partners. By advancing solutions that support faster delivery, greater standardization, and improved sustainability, this project demonstrates how our model can contribute meaningfully to our shared goals of increasing housing supply across the country.

We' re proud to see our project at 2444 Eglinton Ave E (Kennedy Green Co-op) featured in the Toronto Star. The article highlights an incredible shift in the Canadian workforce, specifically how drilling expertise from Alberta's oilfields is being pivoted to install clean, geothermal energy systems right here in Scarborough. At Windmill Development Group, our commitment to geothermal isn't just a design choice; it’s a core part of our mission to build communities within the resources of our planet. By harnessing the Earth’s natural heat, we are:

✅ Reducing carbon emissions by nearly two-thirds compared to conventional buildings.
✅ Providing long-term energy price stability for our future co-op residents.
✅ Supporting a "just transition" for skilled workers moving into the renewable sector.

As Canada’s largest new co-op housing project in a generation, Kennedy Green at 2444 Eglinton is proving that affordable housing and world-class environmental performance go hand-in-hand.
