What an inspiring evening at the 21st annual Canada's Capital Cappies!

Micheline Shoebridge, Executive Director of MASC, was proud to present the Award for Best Set Design. Congratulations to St. Patrick’s High School (OCSB), this year’s recipient of the award for their outstanding achievement. As part of the recognition, MASC is delighted to provide a workshop with a MASC artist to support and inspire these talented young creators.

What makes the CAPPIES so special is the passion and sheer joy on display throughout the evening. Students, teachers, and families come together to celebrate one another's accomplishments with incredible enthusiasm, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere of encouragement and community.

We extend our congratulations to all nominees and recognize the remarkable talent and countless hours of work that went into the musicals they brought to life this year. We were also thrilled to see MASC Arts Award nominee Firdaus El-Darymli of Merivale High School recognized as a nominee for the Junior Critic CAPPIE.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helps make the CAPPIES such a meaningful celebration of arts education and student achievement.
