It has come to our attention that an imposter is using our brand name(s) and brand recognition and is attempting to decieve the Ottawa public.

This location is by no means associated with Hintonburger

Long story short ...

We were quite hopeful to re-open this spring/summer and began talks with several interested partners to re-launch. As discussions with 2 parties continued, It has come to our attention that one of these individuals has proceeded to move forward and is operating without a contract (or recipes) in an attempt to decieve the Ottawa consumer market, and in doing so jeopardizing our plans with the other individual.

The individual at this establishment has been requested to remove any and all signage, burger names and references and an application is being registered against this 'individual/establishment' for trademark infringement, passing off, and depreciation of goodwill, with regard to the nature of the respective goods, services and business associated with the respective marks contrary to sections 7(b), 20 and 22 of the Trademarks Act.

That's the bad news, good news is that after we clear up this mess we can move forward with our plans to once again let you sink your teeth into our famous Hintonburger - Ottawa's best burger!

Howdy folks! It's Dodie, your intrepid soda maker, here to say WE NEED YOUR HELP like we've never needed it before.

Basically we need you to buy soda from us ASAP.

We have had just a HORRIBLE string of bad luck this past month and I am stressed to the max. The van was in the shop for the past 6 weeks, needing a new engine (and yes, replacing the engine was the cheapest option because used vans are WILDLY expensive right now and new vans are a 1 year wait list) SO, we spent a fortune renting vans in the mean time, along with the repair bill.

Now, let's pile on the fact that our cash flow is always the WORST at this time of the year because we are using allllll of our money to make mountains of soda for orders, along with stockpiling ingredients for the year, and that our staffing is at it's peak to make sure everything gets done 😓.

So, I'm am humbly asking you, the soda fans we have found along our journey, to please, if you can, order a couple of cases from our online store and help us get through this hump. It would mean the world to me and the crew! And if all you can do is pass along the message, we would be thrilled with that too!
