JazzWorks Jam Sessions have been a staple of the Ottawa jazz community for 30 years, and this is the second of our JazzWorks Jams in La Belle Province!
In September, after a brief summer vacation for July and August, the jams will return to Brasserie Beaubien on the third Thursday of every month.
This event is a must for anyone wanting to engage in the local jazz scene in Montreal. From amateur and aspiring musicians to professionals, this jam has it all!

Les Jam Sessions de JazzWorks sont un incontournable de la communauté jazz d'Ottawa depuis 30 ans. Voici la deuxième de nos Jams de JazzWorks dans la Belle Province!
En septembre, après de courtes vacances d'été en juillet et août, les jams reviendront à la Brasserie Beaubien le troisième jeudi de chaque mois.
C'est un événement à ne pas manquer pour tous ceux qui souhaitent s'impliquer dans la scène jazz locale à Montréal. Des musiciens amateurs et aspirants aux professionnels, cette jam a tout pour plaire!

🕰️ Entertainment starts at 7:30 with an opening set played by the host band– then, at 8:15, we turn the mic over to you!

🏷️ Cover is $5 for Friends of JazzWorks and $10 for General Admission (become a friend at the door or at https://www.jazzworkscanada.com/become-a-friend.html !)

🎸 For guitarists, an amp will be available. 🎛️ For bassists, an upright bass & amp will be available. 🥁 For drummers, a drum kit will be available. 🎹 For pianists, a miked acoustic upright will be available. 🎤 For vocalists, a mic will be available, or feel free to bring your own!
