Mirror Mountain is overjoyed to reveal our complete 2023 film lineup!

Experience original films from the world’s most unique creative minds, from groundbreaking independent dramas and documentaries, to alternative animation and experimental works, to innovative live performance and interactive media.

We’re proudly showcasing 17 short films by local filmmakers, and kicking off this year’s festival with a live performance collaboration by Ottawa-based Oji-Cree musician Jakean and local video artist Annie Socoria.

We’re also thrilled to present 2 programs back-to-back on Sat. July 22 shining a spotlight on the q***r community: a retrospective of 2SLGBTQIA+ short films from the festival’s history, and the Ontario premiere of feature-length Acadian musical documentary Y A UNE ÉTOILE (THERE’S A STAR) with director Julien Cadieux in attendance.
