We personally use or have tested all of the products we carry, all of our Creatures are traceable, and they're guaranteed to arrive alive & healthy!
A number of the shipping invoices sent in August have still not been paid.
These orders will be considered abandoned on Sept. 30th and will added to October's refund schedule.
(I can't be chasing people for and spending hours on $10 orders anymore either, so order minimums will have to return.)
The shipping orders that have been paid for, (even those paid for last night/this morning) will be going out today.
This is the only day I could take off to wait for FedEx pickups.. & I'm very sorry for the lack of notification emails, I just didn't have time to get the emails out while still getting orders scheduled/packed and dealing with costly FedEx mistakes & crappy customers.
A few of my customers have been incredibly kind and understanding while I deal with the medical and financial problems one is forced to suffer through to be allowed to access help in Ottawa..
There are no words good enough to express how much I appreciate this, so I've added a number of freebies to these orders! ❤️
I can't give you the time you waited back, but I do hope it makes the wait a little less frustrating.
Further cancellations will have to wait until my next payday, as there's no money left.
With the number of cancellations, I always go over my banking limits, which leads to hundreds of dollars in additional fees & overage charges, cuts into other orders/refunds, & takes whatever money I have-- including money set aside for bills and groceries.
(Funds collected for shipping are held separately until I pay for the shipping, so they're safe.)
Those who are being refunded due to time/money issues on my end will not be charged any fees.

I'm really sorry to the people who use the website properly.. but I can't even get their orders out in a timely fashion because I'm dealing with the bank and angry/entitled people, (& broken tech I can't replace) whenever I'm not working my other jobs..
I'm just sorry I didn't remove the ability to order on the website sooner, as I do realize how frustrating it is to do things properly and still end up having to wait.
After those website updates have been done, I will be having a downsizing/moving sale.
This sale will include animals, supplies, and used equipment.. many items, (like the aquarium heaters & tools) have been used once, if at all.

Questions about animals, ordering, shipping and orders, via SMS/text, will no longer be answered.
(I need my phone, plus 30+ minutes per order, just to invoice and schedule shipping.)
Unfortunately, I only have so much free time and I can't get both the invoicing & shipping done while I'm answering questions all day.. it's not physically possible.. trust me, I've been trying all day, lol.
I will be staying up late and working all day Thursday to get the rest of the invoices out, but I have medical appointments all day Friday (July 29) and won't be able to get the follow up emails (to schedule shipping) out until Saturday.
The last 10 shipping invoices have been sent!
If you did not get a shipping invoice, (there's 2 that didn't) please check for my email..
Shipping within Ottawa is so insanely expensive that most people get upset when they get the invoice, so I wanted to confirm such before sending one.
This weekend, (& possibly part of next week) all ordering through the website will be unavailable while I redo everything.
Because of people not reading the website and not replying to emails, I'm still behind..
It's also getting really annoying having to chase people down to be able to get shipping cost or to even find out which day their order can be shipped-- I don't have the time or money to chase you down.
A new policy will be added to the website:
If I have to wait 20 days for shipping payment or to even set a date for shipping, because you won't respond, 100% of the payment will be kept.
I lost $50 on Curious Creatures last month, as the additional banking fees people cost me by canceling their orders meant I couldn't break even.
This has to stop one way or another.
