I went and checked out the Durham Children's Business Fair this weekend!

What a fantastic event hosted by the Rotary Club.

All the booths are run by children ages 6 - 16. The kids are responsible for creating their products, pricing them and running their booth.

These awesome kids had all kinds of products including...
-3D printed critters (my kids freaked out over these)
-Spider plants
-Wooden hanging charms painted with Indian designs for luck and good energy
-Fresh pressed juice
-A colouring book and kids affirmations book, designed by the kids age 9 and 5
-Art turned into t-shirts, bookmarks, comic books, wall art, buttons and more
-Handmade Jewellery

I was so impressed by all of the kids who entered the fair! I can't wait to back next year and bring a ton of people with me.

2022 has been an amazing year for RBE and we've seen growth and are SO excited for the amazing things we'll be working on in 2023.

Keep your eyes peeled for us to...
-plan and execute more amazing business events that are fun and strategic
-teach more entrepreneurs and professionals how to sell their services using webinars
-collabotate on fun projects with amazing people

Fear is a normal human emotion. We're afraid of things as a protective measure. Without fear, we'd do all kinds of stupid things - like jumping into deep ends without knowing how to swim or challenge a bear to a fist fight.

But in business, fear mostly just holds us back. It stops us from putting out that video, of making that presentation, of cold calling that company to try and get their business.

Check out this charity which is brining a whole bunch of awesome across Canada: Shelter Movers helps women (and their children) safely move out of violent homes and into shelters. They also help them move out of the shelter when they are ready - and they're able to do it without leaving everything they own behind.
