Most homeowners don’t realize that a fence is only as strong as the posts holding it. Here’s how we rebuilt this fence the RIGHT way! 🔨

This fence had completely fallen apart, so we started from the ground up. First, we measured out a 36-inch gate opening, leaving enough clearance for the gate to swing properly. We then dug the post hole 4 feet deep to get below the frost line, helping prevent the fence from shifting or leaning during the winter months.

After setting and leveling the new post, we secured it with quick-set concrete and braced it to keep everything perfectly plumb. While the concrete cured, we built a custom gate to maximize our time on the job. Next, we installed the fence rails, followed by evenly spaced privacy fence boards to give the fence a clean, professional finish. Finally, we installed the gate, adjusted the hardware, and completed the transformation.

The little details are what make the biggest difference, and taking the time to build it properly means this fence is built to last for years to come.
