Oromocto Emergency Alert System
The OEAS gives warning to Oromocto residents/business owners to take action and protect themselves from an emergency or disaster. This self-registry system is activated by trained Town emergency operations personnel through the Sentinel Alert software to deliver vital information regarding any threat. It is a free service offered by the Town that provides emergency notification to you via any means you select (fax, telephone, mobile phone, email).

A developing storm will affect the region starting Saturday afternoon. Significant snowfall of 20 to 50 cm is expected over portions of central and northern New Brunswick before it tapers to flurries on Sunday. Over areas of southern New Brunswick the precipitation will start as snow on Saturday but will change to rain or freezing rain Saturday night and then back to snow Sunday morning before ending. Over southern New Brunswick the potential exists for significant snowfall but will be less than areas further to the north because it will change or be mixed with an extended period of rain, freezing rain or ice pellets.
