🌪️ BREAKING: Possible Damaging Tornado Touchdown Reported Near Girouxville Around 8 PM

We’re receiving reports from the Girouxville area, northeast of Grande Prairie, of what appears to be a significant tornado that may have caused damage around 8:00 PM MDT.

We’re currently working to verify images and videos circulating online, but based on the number of reports we’ve received so far, this appears to be a credible event.

We’ve also reviewed radar data from the time of the reported tornado and found a strong and well-defined rotation signature moving directly through the Girouxville area.

Did you witness this tornado or experience any damage? Please let us know. We’ll be forwarding reports, photos and videos to the Northern Tornadoes Project to assist with their investigation and determine whether a tornado occurred.
