What is it actually like to be mentored by Google experts for 10 straight weeks?
Earlier this year, LandLogic was selected as one of 14 AI startups across Canada to join the Google for Startups Accelerator. We entered the program with a broad vision for land-use intelligence. We left with a sharper product, a stronger technical foundation, and a clearer understanding of the problem we needed to solve.
The experience was intense: Daily workshops, technical reviews, founder training, product sessions, and countless conversations that challenged our assumptions and pushed us to think differently about our product, our users, and our future.
The program helped us narrow our focus to one of Ontario's most pressing pain points and build something people can use today. We went from concept to working product in 10 weeks!
As Iran Karimian put it: "The LandLogic team stood out throughout the Google for Startups Accelerator program for their focus, technical depth, and drive... Their ability to absorb technical feedback, move quickly, and execute with clarity was impressive."
And from this success, Parcella is now being integrated into a much larger platform for province-wide AI-permitting, lead by One Ontario.

Today we're announcing that LandLogic has joined One Ontario as its first technology partner in building a province-wide AI-enabled permitting platform.
Government has invested heavily in housing acceleration, permitting reform, and municipal modernization. But it is no secret that approvals remain fragmented across hundreds of disconnected systems, processes, and datasets. We believe the next chapter of permitting modernization requires shared infrastructure.
Through One Ontario, we're helping build a platform powered by province-wide standardized zoning, planning, and property data. The goal is simple: a single dashboard solution to make approvals faster, more transparent, and easier to navigate for applicants, municipalities, and approval agencies alike.
This isn't just about digitizing forms. It's about building the intelligence infrastructure required to support the future of AI-enabled feasibility checks, compliance checks, submission and tracking.

Ontario’s permitting problem is not a technology issue. It is an infrastructure issue.
In this month's RESCON’s Residential Builder newsletter, LandLogic shares why fragmented e-permitting systems are slowing Ontario down, and what it will take to build a better model.
We are watching municipality after municipality develop e-permitting solutions with separate portals, workflows, forms, and datasets. That fragmentation makes approvals harder for applicants, harder for staff, and harder to scale.
With Canada’s depth of technology and AI expertise, we can do better.
LandLogic is building the solution: one centralized, AI-enabled permitting platform powered by shared infrastructure and standardized zoning, planning, and property data.
The technology exists. We have partners on board. It’s time to build it once and build it right.

This year's Toronto Tech Week gave us a unique opportunity to experience innovation from both sides of the table. While attending sessions and hearing from founders, investors, policymakers, and technologists, we also presented our own vision and gathered valuable feedback.
As a small company with ambitious plans, Tech Week became an invaluable pressure test. We launched our vision for a province-wide centralized AI-permitting platform. It helps users understand what they can build, identifies submission requirements, and coordinates the permitting process directly with municipalities and review agencies.
The goal is simple: unify a complex process and help projects move forward more efficiently.
Another important theme surfaced repeatedly throughout the week: support local innovation. Governments often speak about buying Ontario and strengthening Canadian technology ecosystems. Yet too often, critical technology projects are outsourced elsewhere despite the incredible talent, expertise, and innovation being built right here at home.
When it comes to land, property, planning, and permitting, Canadian solutions matter. These are uniquely local challenges that require local understanding, local relationships, and local expertise.
It's our land. We should be building the systems that shape its future, and owning the data that governs it.
One of the highlights of the week was participating in the Google AI Connect: Toronto Tech Week Roundtable, where we had the opportunity to discuss the future of AI adoption in government alongside representatives from Supply Ontario and Minister Stephen Crawford.
A key concern raised during the conversation was that municipalities are beginning to explore AI independently, often without a coordinated framework that ensures systems can work together across the province. We believe Ontario has an opportunity to build a more integrated approach that benefits municipalities, agencies, businesses, and residents alike.
This is exactly the challenge LandLogic is working to solve. Our biggest takeaway from Tech Week wasn't discussing what AI can do. It was discussing what AI should do. If we focus on that, the impact for Toronto, Ontario, and Canada will be enormous.
A special thank you to Iran Karimian from Google for Startups, Daniel Foch from Valery Real Estate and the City of Toronto for hosting us at your events.
