Monastery Cellars brings to life the historical tradition of spirituality and wine making and the two ageless companions of wine and worship. The wine boutique is located at Mount Carmel Monastery founded in 1875 by the Carmelites, a Roman Catholic religious order dating back to 1200 A.D. The shop and tasting bar are open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm.
Take in the sheer beauty of the Mount Caramel Spiritual Centre this weekend. Check out the breathtaking chapel!

There is so much you can do with icewine!
Of course, you can enjoy a glass, but why not spruce it up? For instance, try this recipe for a Icewine Martini, courtesy of Wine Country Ontario!
It's simple; just follow the instructions below:
Ingredients:
- 2 oz VQA Vidal Icewine
- 2 oz Vodka
- Frozen grape for garnish
Directions:
Pour VQA Vidal Icewine and vodka over ice in a cocktail mixer or shaker. Stir gently, then strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a frozen grape.
