With the strong recommendation by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario to cease all “non-essential” treatments, I will be closing down temporarily.

I feel it is my responsibility as a healthcare professional in our community to protect those who are vulnerable, and to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.

This is a very strange and scary time for everyone. Let’s be kind to one another ♥️

INTUITIVE•CURIOUS•INTENTIONAL

These are the 3 words that come to mind when I think of myself as a massage therapist.

A client of mine mentioned that I am intentional in my treatments and home care recommendations and that meant a lot to me. My goal is always to be open and curious and treat every person as an individual, not give “one size fits all” recommendations or treatments.

Speaking of curious- I’m reading this book called “You Don’t Need a Hysterectomy” all about chronic pelvic pain. Not necessarily in my scope of practice, but I am curious about pelvic health and a little knowledge never hurt anybody!

What are YOU curious about???

So I’ve been having a hard time. A hard time making posts, creating content, being inspired. This might be obvious from the clear lack of posts on my Instagram.
Yesterday, I sat down with a really good friend and had a great brainstorming session about my career, social media, and getting inspired. She lit a fire under me and now I can’t stop writing down my ideas for the future! It feels so good to be excited again.
Maybe you can relate to this feeling. Not so much being in a “rut”, but maybe lacking inspiration. What do I do? Brainstorm and READ! Learning something new is my favourite way to get inspired.
I’m not going to promise to be a social media queen, but I will promise to share my knowledge and continue to be curious and open to continuous learning.
