Portrait Preservation of Katrina's Arbutus Tree - 24"x30" Large Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting.
An anniversary gift for her husband Petr who saved this Arbutus tree from near death after parasitic Ivy had engulfed its trunk(stealing all nutrients). Even though their arborist recommended cutting it down, Petr rose above advice(thank goodness) and took proactive measures to free the Arbutus from all ivy, even risking his own life, "climbing the tree like Tarzan" Katrina recalls.
