June 2024 marks 11 years since I received my first paycheck as an RVT and one year since I launched my locum RVT business. Back then, I never imagined I'd be featured on podcasts, or be nominated for veterinary awards, or have articles published in esteemed journals like West Coast Veterinarian. What a whirlwind It's been and how truly humbling to share the stage with professionals I've admired for years.
This year has really shown me the ripples on the pond we are all capable of manifesting through perseverance.
This month also signifies a significant shift as I hang up my RVT hat to pursue Veterinary Practice Management. I couldn't have achieved all of this without the support of my family, friends & mentors. My heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. You give me the strength to, 'keep on keepin'

When you and the Lead RVT @ your last locum stint show up dressed like twins.
First full locum shift today! Always nice when you're at a new clinic and the staff says, "it feels like you have been here FOREVER!".
