Mindful Mutts is definitely a labour of love but when I see those happy panting dogs leave, it’s all worth it!

You can see the bigger activities set up here but the fun is in the details. Each little treat is wrapped, hidden, and rolled into a fun puzzle for your dog. Opportunities to rip, sniff, shred, and dig.

Just because a lot of dogs struggle during storms doesn’t make it normal, and it definitely isn’t something they should have to live with. 🌩️

Storm phobias are rooted in fear and anxiety, not “bad behaviour.” If your dog is showing signs like restlessness, panting, hiding, trembling, or trying to escape, they’re not just “being dramatic”.

Through thoughtful noise desensitization and counterconditioning, many dogs can learn that storms aren’t something to fear. Progress takes time and consistency, but a calmer, more comfortable dog is absolutely possible.
