For those of you who are new here, welcome.

And for those who've been following along for a while, I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

People often ask if I'm a coach, or an Athletic Therapist. The answer is... both, but neither title fully captures what I do.

My career has taken me from amateur and professional sports sidelines to strength training gyms, from injury evaluations to performance programming. Along the way, I realized something that changed how I coach forever:

Performance and longevity aren't just built in the gym or on the field.

They're influenced by recovery, stress, confidence, movement quality, injury history, and the demands of the sport itself.

That's why my approach has never been about handing someone a workout and wishing them luck, or treating a single injury and 'graduating' them. I want athletes to understand why they're doing what they're doing, build confidence in their bodies, and stay available for the sports they love for years to come.

Whether you're chasing a podium, your first race, or simply want to keep hiking, skiing, riding, or lifting without constantly worrying about pain, you deserve coaching that looks at the whole picture.

If that sounds like the kind of coach you've been looking for, I'm glad you're here. 🤍

I'd love to know what sport or activity brings you the most joy?

One question I ask every client during their initial evaluation is about their current mental health practices.

How do you manage stress?

How do you process difficult emotions?

What helps you stay grounded when life gets overwhelming?

Sometimes the answer is formal counseling. Sometimes it's meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, spending time in nature, or leaning on friends and family.

But more often than not, I hear the same answer:

"Exercise."

Now, don't get me wrong, I think exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have for both physical and mental health.

But it's just that... a tool.

When exercise becomes your only coping strategy, it's worth getting curious.

Because if an injury, illness, surgery, or life circumstance suddenly takes movement away, what are you left with?

As coaches, we spend a lot of time building stronger bodies. I believe we should also help people build psychological resilience.

The goal isn't to exercise less.

The goal is to have a toolbox that's bigger than your next workout.

Movement should support your mental health, not carry the entire weight of it.
