The SSMU DJs Guild is group of DJs and Producers of all skill levels based in the Montreal-McGill area. Our aim is to create a thriving community for electronic artists to get feedback and master their craft. And by aggregating all this musical talent in one place, we hope to make throwing parties or organizing events so much easier for everyone. It's BAAACKKKK. Today's Mix of the Week comes from Italian Benny Benassi whose brutal and grimey electro sound first appeared in the early 2000's. It's a common consensus that his sound is one of the reasons behind why electro sounds the way it does and if you listen to old recordings of his, it is easy to see that he was just wayy ahead of his time.
