P3 tip number 3: True or false: The most likely place for a woman to be assaulted is in a secluded public area, eg, the alley behind the club, the underground parking lot, or the darkened street on the way home. What do you all think?

KungfuPaul's take on yesterday's Tip #1:
"Never..."-style advice is something that does not sit well with me. My colleague Sean Lewis hit the nail on the head with his comment- it depends on the specific situation. An "expert" offering one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter rules will not be by your side, should you encounter trouble, and can't possibly have all the information and resources you yourself will have, while you are actively experiencing the aforementioned terrible situation.
Now, regarding the Gun Scenario specifically, I will say that how well you deal with a gun-wielding assailant depends more on your personal Beliefs about fi****ms than on a simple rule or single technique.
