Venez découvrir l’immense potentiel du façonnage, seul ou entre amis! Nos cours de 2h30 visent à procurer aux étudiants de tous niveaux une expérience concrète avec l’argile. Avec la technique de la plaque, tout est possible. C’est la technique la plus utilisée par l’equip d’Atelier Make.
Dans notre belle espace lumineuse, vous travaillerez avec de la porcelaine pour créer et décorer 1 à 2 tasses, vases, petits pots à fleurs, ou crémiers. Suite au cours, vos pièces seront émaillées en transparent et cuites par l’équipe d’Atelier Make.

Come discover the potential of handbuilding, on your own or with a friend! This 2.5-hour workshop offers students of all levels a hands-on experience with clay. In this class you will learn the basics of handbuilding: how to roll a clean even slab of clay, how to design and repeat forms from a paper template, and how to attach handles or other decorative elements to your form.
You’ll work with porcelain to create and decorate 1 to 2 personalized cups, vases, small plant pots, or pouring vessels of your own design. You will finish the workshop by decorating your pieced with coloured engobes and underglazes. After the workshop, your pieces will be dried, fired, and glazed with a transparent finish and fired by the Atelier Make team.
