Video Game Design Camp

and digital tools. Over the course of the two weeks, campers will learn how to design a game, create a prototype, use player feedback, and make their own game using the Construct 2 Game Engine. Because Construct 2 is a visual editor, there is no need to know how to program- we will teach the software from scratch. All campers need is to be familiar with computers and have the drive to create their own game. Campers can expect to be intellectually and creatively challenged in a positive, energetic environment. They will gain an overall knowledge of the game development process, as well as learn concrete project management skills and practical design knowledge that can be applied in any discipline. Best of all, they leave with a game they make themselves, which will be hosted on the Dawson College website to share with friends and family!
