🎉 We are very excited about Pluri-Ed-J-2, the second edition of our symposium on plurilingualism in education, which will take place at the 4th Space on June 11.

▶️ The event brings together researchers, educators, students, and community members around questions related to plurilingualism, language education, and inclusive pedagogies.

📋 Registration is now open for Pluri-Ed-J-2. This is a hybrid event, and the number of in-person spots is limited (the event is free, and lunch will be provided).

Join us for an important upcoming conversation hosted as part of the Unveiling Equity series in partnership with Canadian Practitioners Network for the Prevention of Extremist Violence, and the Indigenous Healing Knowledges Concordia Research Chair.

Traces of Home: Memory, Loss, and Resistance in South Lebanon will explore how storytelling, oral history, and collective remembrance become acts of resistance in the face of erasure and displacement.

The discussion will feature:

The event will also include an open mic space inviting participants to share personal stories of loss, grief, memory, and belonging.

Art and sport can be more than practices. They can be spaces we build together.

In a new CSLP story we highlight "Where Art and Boxing Create Community", a student-led series organized by Taw'ama El Kaddouri and Maggie Hébert that brings together boxing, photography, and printmaking as ways of connecting, reflecting, and expressing collectively. We were pleased to speak with Taw'ama about the motivations behind the new series, which kicks off this THURSDAY, at 5pm. There is still time to register!

Inspired in part by the Gaza Women’s Boxing Club, the series invites participants to move from witnessing, to making, to sharing—exploring how embodied practices can create meaningful, inclusive spaces.

L’art et le sport peuvent être bien plus que des pratiques. Ils peuvent devenir des espaces que l’on construit ensemble.

Dans un nouvel article du CEAP, nous mettons en lumière « Where Art and Boxing Create Community », une série dirigée par des étudiantes et étudiants, organisée par Taw'ama El Kaddouri et Maggie Hébert, qui réunit la boxe, la photographie et la gravure comme moyens de connexion, de réflexion et d’expression collective. Nous avons eu le plaisir d’échanger avec Taw’ama au sujet des motivations derrière cette nouvelle série, qui débute ce JEUDI à 17 h. Il est encore temps de vous inscrire !

Inspirée en partie par le Gaza Women’s Boxing Club, la série invite les participantes et participants à passer de l’observation à la création, puis au partage, en explorant comment des pratiques incarnées peuvent donner lieu à des espaces porteurs de sens et inclusifs.
