Payroll Technician

Main Responsibilities:

Accurately and meticulously enter payroll data
Open and update employee files in our software
Verify information entered in the system, timesheets, and payment codes
Provide support to managers and employees for all payroll-related issues
Maintain file and record archives
Produce various weekly, monthly, and annual reports
Participate in various continuous improvement projects
Perform any other administrative tasks for the payroll department
Profile and General Skills:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Vocational training (DEC) in accounting or related field
1+ years of experience in a similar position
Proficient in Excel
Possess the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (P*P) accreditation (an asset, not mandatory)
Ability to structure work considering deadlines
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Good command of the French and English languages
SALARY:
Starting salary: $20 per hour

Company located 55 minutes from Montreal, transportation provided.
