It's Photo Friday...

One of my favourite photos of lupins. Taken in Newfoundland several years ago, I was fascinated by the curved blooms. I found out that lupins naturally turn and grow toward the sun (a process called phototropism), and that gravity and wind can accentuate the curves. 💜

Perhaps this is commonplace in Newfoundland and even New Brunswick, but it was, and still is, rare for me to see.
