⁉️Should agents be on call all the time… or is that the biggest myth in real estate?
🙈Let’s be honest.
🙏Top real estate agents do work nights.
☎️We answer calls on Fridays.
🏡We show homes on Saturdays.
📝We write offers on Sundays.
Because in a competitive Toronto real estate market, timing is everything.
But here’s the reality no one says out loud:
🙏24/7 service does not mean instant access at every second.
If we’ve been available for you all week, all weekend, and beyond,
👌don’t confuse one unavailable moment with lack of dedication.
📲The best agents are not just “always on call”
they are strategic, responsive, and protecting your biggest investment behind the scenes.
⬇️Real estate is more than showings.
It is negotiations, market analysis, contracts, and constant deal management.
💰Respect the process. Respect the people.
That is how you win in this market.

👌Some of the best commercial real estate deals… don’t start in commercial.
👍They start with YOU—our residential agents.
Every time you hear:
‘I’m opening a business’
‘I need retail space’
‘I’m looking for an investment property’
That’s not just a conversation.
☎️That’s a high-value commercial real estate opportunity.
This is exactly what Glenn and I built.
A referral pipeline between residential and commercial real estate.
A system designed for deal flow, client growth, and scalable success.
A culture where agents collaborate and win together.
And even though I just came across this video…
It’s a reminder:
We continue his legacy.
👷We keep building.
We keep growing the KW commercial division stronger than ever.
✅ Because referrals aren’t just transactions.
They create real business success stories.
Like this one.
Paul Sheehan, one of our residential agents, made a simple referral.
💵That referral turned into a successful commercial deal.
🏺Today, that client owns a thriving pottery studio business.
And Paul?
💰He received a strong referral commission check.
1ed2af96-98e0-43dc-90e8-3f012396618b.pngThis is the power of commercial real estate referrals.
👍This is how you scale in real estate.
This is how you turn conversations into income.
So next time you hear opportunity—
Think commercial deals.
Think investment property.
💵Think long-term wealth.
And bring it to us.
Let’s build something bigger—together.”

😢I still can’t believe that Glenn is no longer amongst us.
🕊️🤍🙏🕊️
This is written in loving memory of him, a tribute to his life and the incredible legacy he leaves behind.
I am truly shocked. I just saw him on Thursday. He gave me a hug and said the words of encouragement before I went up on stage . He always lifted people up. He always had something positive and kind to say about every single person he spoke to. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and important.
My deepest condolences go out to his wife and his children. He loved you deeply and spoke about you often.
Glenn McQueenie was not just the owner and operator of Keller Williams Urban Realty, he was my partner in KW Commercial division , a mentor, and someone who leaves behind a true legacy.
He gave so much to this industry, including writing books that we can now all read and always have a piece of him with us.
I remember after I joined Keller Williams and came to him with the idea of opening the KW Commercial division. His eyes lit up and he said, “Oh my God, I’ve always thought about doing this, and now I have the perfect person to do it with.” I asked him, “Are you sure you want to get into this? It’s a lot of work.” And he said, “What do you mean? I am very young. I’m not stopping. I’m not retiring anytime soon. I have so many things to do.”
That was just two years ago.
Since then, we moved forward with opening the KW Commercial division. We connected with so many people across the U.S., worked incredibly hard, built systems, created policies and procedures, and launched something we were both proud of. Every week, we had check-in calls, talking about the industry, what was happening, and what we could do better. Every week, we pushed each other to come up with new ideas and solutions to attract commercial agents to our division.
Glenn was full of ideas and creativity.
We had a bond, we were both Cancers. We used to laugh that we were hard on the outside but soft on the inside. But truthfully, Glenn was soft on the outside too. He was gentle, kind, and had an infectious laugh. As Stephanie Nause just said, his laugh made you laugh, and he laughed at his own laugh and I can still hear it.
Every week, he would call me to introduce me to someone new, someone he believed would be great for KW Commercial. He constantly connected me with people in the industry, opening doors for us.
His wife and kids meant everything to him.
Sometimes he would take our calls while driving to the cottage, but no matter what, he always showed up.
I remember one time we were on a call and it was so loud. I said, “Glenn, are you smoking? Close your window.” He laughed and said, “Oh sorry, I needed one “ and we kept talking through the highway noise, laughing and building ideas.
Even recently, people we had spoken to through Glenn were still reaching out to join KW Commercial. Just last week, we spoke with someone about launching a syndicated mortgage project within the brokerage, another idea in motion. He always said, “ I want every one of our office staff and our agents be able to own something , a piece of commercial real estate , let’s create an investment funds so we can give them this ability “.
From everything I’ve seen and heard from others, Glenn was always there for everyone. He knew everyone’s name. He knew their families. He had a special way of connecting with each person, and that’s what made him unforgettable.
Just the other day, during an AI presentation at the office, one of our agents Calvin Xu brought a friend to see how they can help to build ai administrative agent to eliminate some of the redundant work at the office level. Calvin said, “I’m only here because of Glenn. I’ve stayed because of Glenn.” That speaks volumes about the relationships he built.
And yes, his desk was always messy. Papers everywhere. I used to ask him, “How do you find anything here?” But like they say, the greatest minds often have the messiest desks, and Glenn always knew exactly where everything was.
He will be greatly missed by so many: Jaime, Jessica, Michelle, Richard, David, everyone at the front desk ,back end office staff and the entire office. He truly created a family here. He always said ,” Jaime and everyone runs the show , I am only here for good looks”. He empowered everyone every day .
One of my favorite memories was in Las Vegas at Family Reunion last year, playing three-card poker every night. You really get to know someone sitting beside them, playing, talking, laughing, sharing stories over a glass of red wine. Those moments meant a lot.
There are still so many ideas we worked on that will come to life, and they will be part of continuing his legacy.
Glenn was always for his people. Truly selfless. Always going above and beyond. He taught so many of us how to become better agents, and better people.
Let’s not forget that.
Let’s take a piece of his advice and continue to lift each other up, just like he always did. He loved to say, “Look at you, big deal!” He made everyone feel important, no matter who they were, and always spoke highly of others while connecting them to new opportunities.
He was a connector.
He was a leader.
And he was truly a BIG deal.
