Fresh Veggies Day is a reminder that fresh, local food can bring communities together 🌱🥕🍅
Today, we’re celebrating the growers, gardeners, volunteers, and community members helping create more sustainable and food-secure neighbourhoods. Whether it’s harvesting from a community garden, shopping locally, or growing herbs on a windowsill, every small step helps build a healthier future for people and the planet.
What’s your favourite fresh veggie to grow or eat in the summer? 🌽🥒🥬
