We are pleased to have Troy Martin join the K2 Group team.

Troy is a proven leader with a history of entrepreneurship and spent most of the last 30 years gaining a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Recent experience includes leading the non-traditional team at Tim Hortons to record-breaking growth, developing hundreds of new locations in hospitals, universities, and workplaces across Canada. Troy was also responsible for the external brand strategy at Compass Group, where under his leadership the 30 brands, 400 unit organization emerged as the industry leading operator for both Starbucks and Tim Hortons.

Troy joins the K2 team after working with Ghost Kitchen Brands since inception, where he successfully negotiated deals with dozens of new franchised restaurant concepts and led the onboarding and brand operations for the growing portfolio. Troy holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.

This week, a few members of the K2 Group team had the privilege of dedicating a day to volunteering with Food Banks Mississauga extending a helping hand. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy our time, but we also gained valuable insights from this meaningful experience. We sorted enough food to provide 1520 meals! 🥣

Food Banks Mississauga is the leading food security organization in Mississauga leading a network of 60+ agency members (including neighbourhood food banks, pantries, cupboards and meal and snack programs) working together for a food-secure Mississauga! Through the network, they provide healthy and appropriate food for almost 6 million meals each year to neighbours facing food insecurity across Mississauga.
