I’ve been so lucky to be a part of some pretty incredible spaces in Chatham-Kent this year, so commercial spaces have been on my mind a lot lately.

Many moons ago I opened a small shop with one of my best friends. It was an extremely grassroots effort that operated on a shoestring budget. We did the best we could with next to no resources, and I’m so proud of the artisans and creators we were able to support at the time!

If I’d had the supports then that I do now (hello .consulting !!), I would have secured a small biz loan to furnish this space.
