Zajac Ranch is also open year-round to entertain group bookings. In 1999, Mel Zajac had a vision to build a ranch facility to provide camp experiences for children with chronic and life-limiting conditions throughout British Columbia and Canada. This vision was inspired by the incredible impact he has seen through the ‘Hole in the Wall’ camps created by good friend of the Foundation, Paul Newman.
🍂Zajac Ranch is excited to offer Fall Family Respite Camp, a special opportunity for families to experience the joy, connection, and therapeutic benefits of camp together.
Running from October 2–5, 2026, our medical camp program welcomes both new and returning Zajac Ranch families, including children, youth, and young adults ages 7–40 who are living with complex medical conditions, cognitive conditions, and/or disabilities.
Our respite camp offers families the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy shared experiences in a place where their needs are understood.
