Milton Transit will not be operating on Good Friday (April 3). Service resumes Saturday, April 4, from 7 a.m. to 7:53 p.m. A reminder that there is no service on Sundays.

The winter weather is currently impacting transit service. Delays are expected, and some bus stops may take longer to clear. Riders should plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Milton Transit wins national innovation award!

Milton Transit has received the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Award for Innovation for our Diesel-to-Battery Electric Bus Conversion Pilot Project—the first of its kind in Canada!

This project shows how converting mid-life buses can help smaller transit systems move to zero-emission fleets faster and more affordably. Our converted electric bus is already serving the community, reducing emissions, and improving rider comfort.

📢 Winter transit service changes start Jan. 5

Routes 1, 8, and 21 have minor schedule adjustments. We’re also introducing a new School Extra Route 53A for Walker neighbourhood students travelling to and from Milton District High School.
