Bending Light Designs

A friend asked me to make a stained glass seagull. No problem. Oh, can you make it with a cigarette in its mouth? Sure, again, no problem. Had to think about how to make a tiny cigarette, but she was very happy with it. Lots of fun.

What a beautiful location to hold a workshop. We made colourful stained glass feathers at Waverley Workshops, which is in a century old barn with plenty of space to spread out to work. It's not often you see a chandelier in a barn, but there's one there! Laura served a very tasty lunch, all home made. Thank you!!

Great first RV trip of the year to Lakefield where I taught workshops on Friday and Saturday at the library. Fabulous facility with plenty of space and light. Lots of choices of glass for everyone to make their own unique feather. Thanks Don and Heidi for your hospitality.

I so enjoy leading workshops at the Wye Marsh. In keeping with our seasonal theme, we made stained glass trilliums. There were some small, tricky pieces, but everyone left feeling very happy.
