Each year, an employee tree planting event is held at a Miller site to help us reach our goal of planting 115,000 trees and shrubs by our 115th birthday in 2032. Watch Kristen demonstrate some techniques used to help us grow towards our goal!
Planting native trees, shrubs, and pollinator gardens helps Miller contribute to the offsetting of our carbon footprint and supports local biodiversity. This year's tree planting event was special, as employees planted trees on rehabilitated land at the Boyington Pit, which is also the home of the Uxbridge Community Share Garden.
