A primary ensuite designed around both function and calm.

One of the key details is the mirrored medicine cabinet. Instead of treating it as simple storage, we planned the interior by daily-use categories — space for face towels, a hair dryer, skincare items, small essentials, and electric toothbrush charging. This helps keep the vanity surface clean and uncluttered in everyday use.

In the shower, the illuminated niche adds a soft warmth while making the space feel visually wider and more comfortable. Paired with warm walnut cabinetry, light stone surfaces, and textured grey tile, the ensuite feels clean, practical, and quietly refined.

The irregular-shaped mirror becomes the focal point of the space, with backlighting that creates a soft, warm glow rather than harsh direct lighting. To work with the existing ceiling bulkhead, we introduced a curved detail and cove lighting, turning a structural limitation into part of the atmosphere.

The stone-like vessel sink adds a natural, organic touch, especially against the textured wall tile. Paired with warm walnut cabinetry, the space feels quiet, grounded, and intimate.

A townhouse kitchen renovation designed within the realities of an existing home.

With constraints such as ceiling bulkheads and fixed structural conditions, the goal was to maximize the upgrade without forcing the space beyond what was practical. We softened the original hard angles by introducing a curved entry wall and a matching curved cabinet detail, creating a gentler transition into the kitchen.

The palette combines warm walnut cabinetry with a soft Sahara Cream-inspired warm grey, paired with light stone textures to keep the space clean, bright, and functional.
