🚫🔥 RESTRICTED FIRE ZONE IN EFFECT – NO FIRE PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED 🔥🚫

The Town of Marathon is currently within a Restricted Fire Zone.

No fire permits will be issued or sold until the Restricted Fire Zone has been lifted. This means no open-air burning requiring a permit is permitted during this time.

This includes:
🔥 Campfires and recreational fires
🔥 Outdoor fire pits and fireplaces
🔥 Chimineas
🔥 Burning grass, leaves, brush, or yard debris
🔥 Any other open-air burning that requires a permit

These restrictions are in place to help reduce the risk of wildfires and protect our community, residents, visitors, and our emergency responders.

🚬 Please use extra caution outdoors. Ensure ci******es and other smoking materials are completely extinguished and disposed of safely.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping keep The Town of Marathon safe. Updates will be shared through the Town's official website and social media channels as they become available.
