The Maple Ridge Fire Fighters Association represents 53 firefighters proudly serving and protecting the citizens of Maple Ridge, BC, Canada. We are Local 4449 of the International Association of Fire Fighters, an organization now over 300,000 members strong, protecting 85% of North America’s population.

Maple Ridge Fire Fighters were proud to volunteer at McHappy Day in support of Ronald McDonald House and Foundry Ridge Meadows. Fire Fighters collected donations, worked the till, and assisted with preparing orders. It was great to volunteer alongside the Maple Ridge RCMP, Mayor Ruimy, and many others who dedicated their time to making a positive impact.

Over the past two weeks, our Youth Academy has built hands-on skills in auto extrication and vehicle fire training. Since October, they’ve also trained in hose work, ladders, knots, and tools—and are now just a few sessions away from live fire training at JIBC and graduation! Great work to all our Youth Academy members!
