Megan was born and raised in North Delta (look at those old school uniforms) Megan has been with Health and Wellness since before we had walls!

She then continued her post secondary education playing collegiate softball as a pitcher at Lake-Sumter in Leesburg Florida and then Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. 🥎

Following undergrad, Megan continued her Doctorate program at Rockhurst University graduating in 2015. 💪

Currently, Megan spends her time off with her two children (aged 7 & 3), her doggo Kacey 🐶, and her fiancé Matt

Megan continues to keep active by working out, hiking, running, crossing country skiing, snowboarding, cycling and hyrox training - all at a mediocre mid 30 year old level 😆

Fun fact: Matt is an RMT at the clinic and Megan and him recently got engaged! 💍

Bre graduated from UFV with her bachelor of Kinesiology degree in 2009 and have been working as a Kinesiologist for 16 years! In that time bre has worked with really a bit of everything! Cardiac, pre and post joint replacement, chronic disease, broken bones, icbc, brain injuries, athletes…you name it, shes done it!

Bre has a small background in nursing (took 2 1/2 years of nursing school) way back when!

Now that bre is in her mid 40’s, a big focus of her practice has changed and she loves working with the aging population. Women in Perimenopause, menopause and post menopause as well as both men and women over 40! she loves learning about how our workouts change as we age!

Bre played softball for 35 years but in 2020 switched gears a bit so now you can find her with her husband on a golf course, traveling around to find a new course she hasnt played and working on getting that score under 90!

In general, she loves getting out and being active, she has recently learned to do some ocean fishing and crabbing, LOVES gardening and spending time with their four legged fur baby any possible second she can!

At 40 bre was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and although the lack of energy to workout can be difficult, she finds it is also what gives her energy, what keeps her strong and healthy both mentally and physically, and assists in keeping my body in remission.

Mikaela Smart, DC

1. Mikaela was born and raised in Maple Ridge and attended Archbishop Carney in Port Coquitlam.

2. She then continued her post secondary education running competitive track at Trinity Western. Mikaela excelled at distance running and understand the demands of running on the body! 🏃‍♀️

3. Following Trinity, Mikaela headed south or Portland to attend University of Western States to receieve her doctorate in Chiropractic. 🦴

4. Currently, Mikaela enjoy spending her weekends with family, friends, her Fiance Tanner, and her Dog Beau 🐶

Pop in to the clinic on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings, and Satrudays to welcome Mikaela to our team! ❤️

Dr. Mikaela Smart is a chiropractor with a strong background in sports and rehabilitation. A former competitive distance runner, she brings firsthand understanding of athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery. Dr. Smart has experience in concussion management and takes an evidence-informed approach to care. Her treatment style incorporates Diversified chiropractic technique, manual therapy, and individualized rehabilitation exercises to help patients return to optimal function and long-term health.
