SCL Contracting

We are looking for a skilled carpenter with strong leadership skills. Reporting to the owner, the carpenter will demonstrate dependability, maturity and self-discipline while carrying out leadership duties and tasks.

The successful candidate for the role of Carpenter will possess:
A minimum of 5 years of experience
Clear communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of job site Health & Safety
The ability to read and write in the English language

Job Duties:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Responding to change orders
- Assist in Estimating prospective jobs
- Communicate with clients
- Training apprentices and/or coworkers
- Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc. (problem solve)
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (Occupational Health and Safety)
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: hourly based on experience
