On Sunday, May 4th, a few of our cadets participated in the local Battle of the Atlantic parade at Annacis Island, Lower Mainland B.C., alongside Sea Cadet Corps 201 Grilse, 102 Fraser, and Navy League Cadets from 13 JF Williams.
This an annual event is held across Canada to commemorate those who served in the longest naval campaign of the Second World War – the Battle of the Atlantic (1939 –1945). It was a struggle between the Allies and the Axis powers for control of vital supply lines across the Atlantic Ocean.
