Sorry for not posting for quite a while folks, but I had been working on a secret project for my gorgeous wife. This is a Hoosier Cabinet, originally from the prairies. It dates from the late 30's to the early 40's. I was never able to pin down the exact make, but I'm confident it's a Simpson model....which was a large retail store based out of Toronto. I stripped it right down from 6-7 layers of various types of paint...back to the original oak underneath. So much stripper!!! All hardware is original. The only update I did was create the cutting board which was missing from the original, as well as order the roll top door from Indiana...where most of this style of cabinet originated from! Had to do this work all on the sly as it was a Christmas gift. Hope you folks like it!
