My name is Leni, owner of WESTON LASH and mommy to a beautiful little boy named Weston. I have been in the beauty industry for 10 years as a licensed aesthetician and a 7x certified Lash Artist! I have been doing lashes for 6+ years now and specialize in Volume and Mega Volume.

I remember my first set like it was yesterday. I was soooo nervous!
⠀
Working as an esthetician, I really wanted to get into doing lashes.
It was brand new in the industry and I wanted to know everything about it.
My boss at the time had taken a training course but decided that she didn’t want to do it. So me being eager to learn, she gave me her kit and said have fun!

The next day I showed up to work with a shocking surprise. She had booked me in for a lash fill with one of the salons clients and said you have to start somewhere... 😳😩

Took me 3 hours to do a classic fill!!
Pretty sure I used .18 or 2.0 classic lashes cuz those were the only ones in the kit. And of course I had no idea about lengths so when my client said she liked them long I said okay.... 🙊

My poor client took it like a champ. She knew it was my first time and was totally ok with me trying on her. I was shaking the whole time. Literally would just look at how the other lashes were placed from the previous set and tried to manipulate what was going on.

Lashes were flopping from side to side 🙈
I had no idea about placement, proper isolation, natural lash health etc.
Complete gong show 🤣

Fast forward 6+ years and I am educated AF with tons of certifications and experience!

We all need to start somewhere. My tip for you if you really want to get into lashing, Is to Invest in yourself. Invest in your education!
