🌞 Sun Seekers Summer Camp – Life Skills Academy. Where innovation meets tradition!

Get ready for an unforgettable summer of hands-on learning, creativity, and adventure at Sun Seekers Summer Camp! Designed for youth ages 9–13, this Life Skills Academy camp blends fun with real-world skill building—so campers stay engaged while gaining confidence and independence.
Each day brings a new hands-on experience, from cooking their own recipes, creating art, and exploring STEAM projects, to playing team sports, enjoying outdoor play, and collaborating with peers. It’s the perfect balance of Science, Art, Athletics, and Culinary adventures, with something to spark every camper’s interest.

Ages: 9 to 13 y/0
Location: Ilderton Youth Centre (13168 Ilderton Rd)
Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Weekdays throughout summer)

Dorchester Summer Boredom Buster
Dorchester Summer Boredom Busters are fun half-day afternoon programs for kids at the Dorchester Rural Hub at the Flight Exec Centre. Each session features a unique theme with hands-on activities, creative projects, games, and challenges designed to keep kids active, engaged, and entertained all summer long. Participants can register for individual days based on their interests, with themes including cooking challenges, messy art, science experiments, escape rooms, survivor games, pancake art, and rocket launches.

Evening Adventure is always a great time! We offer a wide variety of activities for children in grade 1 to 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on weeknights.

- Supper Club: Nutritious Supper served until 5:30 pm ($2/night or $60 for entire school year)
- Sports leagues
- Arts (drama, visual arts, music)
- Science/engineering clubs
- Mental wellness (social skills programs)
- Specialized Skill-building programs
