Introducing The Canadian Brand Project!

If you caught yesterday’s MEE newsletter, you heard all about this new project. And now it’s time to bring it to my social platforms.

Canada is home to so many incredible brands, each with its own story, personality, and purpose. As a commercial product photographer, I’ve always believed product photography should do more than show what’s INSIDE the package, it should capture the FEELING behind the brand.

Over the coming months, I’ve challenged myself to create campaign-style imagery for Canadian products, treating each one as if it were a real client brief. Every brand will have its own creative concept, prop styling, colour palette, shot list, and visual story.

This project is a chance to push my creativity, celebrate amazing Canadian businesses, and explore what’s possible when thoughtful photography meets intentional branding.

Stay tuned and let me know if there’s a Canadian brand you’d love to see featured next.

Summer content isn’t just about YOUR product.

It’s about what your product FEELS LIKE.

Is it refreshing? Does it feel like slow mornings or backyard hangs? Is it travel-ready or something you grab on the go?

Because THAT is what people are buying into.

Not just the product, but the moment around it.

If your content isn’t showing that yet, that’s where I’d start.

How do you want YOUR product to FEEL?

Most people choose based on what they like.

I choose based on what the image needs to do.

Does it show the product clearly?

Can someone tell the size?

Does it build trust?

Is the lighting highlighting the texture?

Does it make you want to click?

Photography isn’t just about making something look pretty, it’s about helping people make a buying decision.

So...

Which one did you pick first?

(And no cheating by reading this caption first)
