TING EDITION Comic Jam
Join us for a special jam hosted by and Heroes Comics. To celebrate 10 years of Ting, this session will throw a challenge on the table asking jammers to use the number 10 or images in multiples of 10 from panel to panel.

You start by drawing the first panel and then slide it across the table and see what the next person adds to the story. Bring your favourite pencils and prepare to improvise!

This free event is suitable for the whole family. Monday May 11, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

TING CONTEST! A peek at one of the Merle Tingley illustrations featured in the Gallery. Ting was editorial cartoonist for the London Free Press for over 40 years (1947-1986). His illustrations attracted a loyal following and his famous cartoon mascot, Luke Worm, is a widely recognized icon in the Canadian comic scene.

TING ZINE EXPO on Thursday May 7, 6 pm to 9 pm. FREE event.

Come out to support the DIY zine creators and self-publishers. Purchase artist books, comics, zines and handmade items by the coolest creators right here at TAP. The Zine Expo is a Art Crawl Thursdays event.

10th annual Ting OPENING RECEPTION on Saturday May 9 from 6 pm to 9 pm! FREE event.

Mix and mingle with our exhibiting Ting artists plus we have a special opening night performance with exhibiting artist Matt James and the Petite TBE, a four-piece version of The Très Bien Ensemble. The band will riff on some TBE favorites and offer us a little 4-piece music improvisation.

This year's exhibition features the art of Aidan Urquhart, Alayna Hryclik (Soft Flirt), Antony Hare, Archie Cromwell, Ben O’Neil, Billy Bert Young, Brenda Fuhrman, Cai Sepulis, Christopher Runciman, David Collier, Dave Lapp, Derek Laufman, Eric Vedder, Jeff Lemire, Jeremy Bruneel, Jesse Jacobs, Matt James, Merle Tingley, Scott Chantler, and Scott Brian Woods.

Another session to study the figure in costume on Saturday May 2.

Drawing boards, donkeys and easels are available and a session coordinator sets the pace. All you need to bring is your sketch pad and favorite drawing materials!
