As we approach the end of 2021, there are a few dates you should be aware of. As this is a busy time for our clients and the Lab, we want to ensure we meet your patient’s expectations.
In order to receive orders before December 31, 2021, orders must but be submitted by Friday, December 10th, 2021. Any orders made after this date cannot be guaranteed to arrive before the end of the year. Please submit your orders as soon as possible to allow ample time to dispense your orthotics before the year’s end.
Also please make note that the lab will be closed on the following dates for the holidays:

📍Here at Footletic Orthotic Lab, we have two Canadian Certified Pedorthists and Pedorthic Technicians who are hands-on in all stages of the manufacturing process.
🦶 A C. Ped.(C) plays an important role in the foot care model in Canada, continue reading to learn more!
➡️ C. Ped (C)s are health care professionals that educate, treat and manufacture devices for many foot and ankle conditions and ailments.
➡️ Primarily situated in foot care clinics, we can perform bio-mechanical assessments and evaluate the way you walk. We educate clients on how the lower limbs function, the current foot function and advise on how to assist clients in the treatment of various conditions and diseases.
➡️ Treatment can be advice on proper footwear, suggesting a treatment plan, including custom foot orthotics, to treat underlying bio-mechanical insufficiencies when needed and incorporate braces to assist in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
➡️ We can also be found in the manufacturing process where we communicate and support health care professionals to manufacture prescription foot orthotics in mass production. They utilize their knowledge to create the devices healthcare professionals require for their patients.
➡️ In a typical Orthotic Lab, foot castings are verified, digitally scanned via a 3d optical scanner and then digitally designed. C.Ped (C)s are involved in all aspects on the design process and ensure the devices are made to clinical standards of the health care professional.
➡️ In both the Clinical and Lab environments, C.Ped (C)s are a trusted health care professionals inside the foot care model.
