Quebec Open 2026🥊

This weekend, we travelled with two boxers representing our team at the tournament & both delivered outstanding performances.

🥇 Silent Dragon | 41kg JrA
🥉 El Toro | 66kg JrC

Silent Dragon came ready to go from the opening bell against a Quebec opponent. Sharp, fast, and focused, he executed the game plan beautifully. His movement, level changes & accuracy were on point. He put on a dominant performance, giving his opponent a standing eight count and securing a well-deserved gold medal.

El Toro stepped up against Quebec opponent & put together one of his best performances to date. He fought with composure, confidence, and determination. Mixing his attacks well, working his way in and out, and showing tremendous heart throughout the fight. He came up short in a split decision, but that’s boxing. His bronze medal only tells part of the story of how well he boxed this weekend.

Honestly, these were the best performances we’ve seen from both athletes so far. The growth, maturity, confidence, and ring IQ they showed were incredible to watch. Super proud of the work they’ve put in and excited to see where the journey takes them next.

It was also great seeing everyone support one another throughout the weekend, cheering each other on and spending time together as a team. Moments like these are what make the sport so special. Always grateful to work along side of Coach Jay & Coach Alcides.

We have 6 boxers competing this weekend. 2 representing Yuli Boxeo x M.P.T and 4 representing M.P.T Fitness & Boxing. Everyone has been putting in the work and training hard getting ready for this tournament. Looking forward to seeing them step into the ring and showcase their skills this weekend.
