Julian has a unique perspective to help you on your journey in voice. Not only has he performed professionally in many musicals including The Threepenny Opera, Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, Disney’s Pocahontas, and Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. He has also been involved in the ‘room where it happens’ that spawned major musicals such as Come From Away and Green Day’s American Idiot. He’s currently involved in the professional creation and composition of his own musical based on John Milton’s Paradise Lost.

Julian holds an Honours BFA in Theatre and Drama studies from the University of Toronto, an Acting Conservatory Diploma from Sheridan College, is a Royal Conservatory of Canada certified voice teacher, and specialist in EPIC Techniques which also inspired the work of John Kander and Fred Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider-Woman.)

Julian will work with you one on one to develop your personal voice, how to take lyrics and notes from the page to stage, and how to build a complete performance. Lessons are open to kids as young as 12 and 13, and adults as old as 120.
