Happy International Women’s Day! I want to take a moment to celebrate this amazing woman, now in Spirit, without whom I wouldn’t be here or be the person I am today. While I honour the work all of the women put in to ourselves and those around us, our strong matriarchs are the foundation of our womanhood.

I continue to strive in all the ways they couldn’t.

I continue to shed my trauma for all the things they held and could never release.

I continue to create peace for all the ways they were stuck.

I continue to speak loud for all the ways they were silenced.

Remember that as we grow and heal and become strong, we heal our elders and ancestors as well as pave a new path for our youth. Such is the power of women.

Honour the many women in your life.

Keep shattering those glass ceilings.

Honour your authentic self.

Lift each other up.

Hey everyone, I’m Jodi!

It’s been a while since I’ve done an intro, and since there’s some new people here, it seemed like a good time. I’m a Registered Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Holistic Practitioner who specializes in Trauma-Informed and Size Inclusive care. Also, I’m accepting new clients! Based in , I’ve been a practicing RMT for almost 9 years and practicing Reiki and Holistic Modalities for almost 20 years.

As an RMT, my practice style is client-focused, and your comfort is always my number one priority. I’ve worked with a variety of health conditions, injuries, recoveries, and everyday ailments such as headaches, postural corrections, and overall body pain and tension. I’ve taken courses in Fascial Release, Cupping Therapy, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM/Gua Sha). A thorough assessment of your overall health and Massage Therapy goals is always completed so that we can work together to help you feel your best. I also commonly work with those who’ve experienced trauma, and while mental health is outside my scope of practice, I can help with managing the physical symptoms of stress, anxiety, and trauma, and provide a safe space for you to relax and just be. There’s appointments available as early as next week, so reach out!

My approach as a Holistic Therapist and Reiki Master is much the same, though I focus more on helping people move through Shadow Work and deep Trauma. With almost 20 years of experience and extensive training, I’ve witnessed dozens of clients find healing, self-awareness and empowerment.
